Epiblading combined with Genesis

Epiblading combined with Genesis is designed for those who want an extra smooth glow to their skin.
What is involved with this treatment?

This treatment starts with Epiblading which is an effective and safe exfoliation treatment. Unlike chemical exfoliation methods, Epiblading is performed using a single use sterile scalpel specifically designed for Epiblading. The tool is held at a 45-degree angle as it gently glides along the skin, removing excess surface skin cells and Vellus hair (Peach Fuzz).

Followed then by Laser Genesis, which is a non-ablative laser treatment that works by putting heat into the deeper layers of the skin. By heating the deeper layers our own collagen and elastin fibres are stimulated.

Key Elements/Benefits:
  • Removes excess surface skin cells revealing smoother, softer skin.
  • Removes Vellus hair (Peach Fuzz).
  • Promotes deeper absorption of products boosting the effects of the products.
  • Reduces congestion.
  • Reduces redness
  • Reduction in pore size
  • Ideal for most skin types
  • Instant results and no downtime.
Prior to treatment:

Epiblading/Genesis should not be done within 2 weeks of any Anti-Wrinkle injections, Dermal Fillers, or Chemical Peels.

During treatment:

First the skin is cleansed and prepared with the appropriate products.

Epiblading is then performed, Epiblading one section at a time.

Genesis is then performed. Throughout laser Genesis you will feel a warm sensation, as your skin heats up to around 42-44 degrees – for most of the treatment you will be quite comfortable, some areas you may feel the heat more. Your feedback throughout the treatment is important to ensure we aren’t heating the skin up too much. Your eyes will be protected with the use of specific laser goggles.

LED therapy is always performed after your Epiblading/Genesis to enhance the benefits of the treatment – this is complimentary.

A specific serum, moisturiser and a SPF will then be applied. Makeup can be worn post treatment if desired however we recommend leaving your skin makeup free for 24 hours if possible.

What to expect after this treatment:

Smooth beautiful glowing skin.  Your skin will appear flushed after your treatment, like you have been for a brisk walk.
